It all started 4:50 am on August 28Th. The Newman family adventure. We got up early to see the Total Luna Eclipse. It was incredible. We did not get pictures for a while for it was to dark for them to show up. It started a reddish orange and progressed from there. We took a few pictures and would like to share our adventure with you. The kids were amazed! I have to say so was I!! God beauty is totally amazing!!

It is starting to get light out. That was a good thing we got better pictures. Malachi did a good job with the camera. It lasted longer than we thought too. We got up at 4:50 and it is not almost 6:00 am. This was a really neat experience. Look at Gods beauty.

6:15 am Aug 28Th, 2007. The last of the Total Lunar Eclipse. We saw it all kids! That was amazing. The joy of Homeschooling. You can fit anything in!! Even Gabriel got to see it before he got on the Bus.

Happy Birthday Hezekiah! We love you so much. Our baby Boy is now 6! How time flys. It seems like yesterday you were born. I thought about that today. I can remember it as tho it just happened. Look at that big smile. The Lord has blessed us so. You bring us joy everyday. It is so exciting to watch you grow and see what the Lord has in store for you. Have fun Heze!
Hey, Hey look here! Looks like Hezekiah is ready to beat his family in a nerf target game. We love having fun together!

Here he comes to save the Day! You have nothing to Fear Hezekiah is here.
Sissy feels safe now. She has her own personal Super Hero!!

Blow, Heze Blow! Yep he blew all 6 of them out. What a big boy. Happy Birthday Hezekiah. I have to say you will always be my Baby Boy!

Hezekiah is our 6 year old Supper Hero!!
Wow Hezekiah is now 6 years old and it is time for his Birthday Party. I have 17 little boys. OK there were 2 girls. That came over to our house to celebrate Hezekiah Birthday. We had a blast but I must say they kept me very busy. I thank the Lord that two of my very good friends stayed to help. I don't know what I would have done without them and of course I cant forget to mention my faithful Son Malachi. We played games, made crafts, blew bubbles, ate cake , opened presents, and of course we had a big water balloon fight. Hezekiah and his buddies had a great time. What a blessing kids keep you young. They also remind you how old you are getting.

Happy Birthday to You. Happy Birthday to You. Happy Birthday dear Hezekiah. Happy Birthday to You!!!!
OK Boys line up it is time for CAKE!! Yes look at all those Boys.

We are finishing up the crafts and on to CAKE!! Malachi is lighting the candles. We had 17 kids! Yes I know I am crazy but that are what Moms are for (to get Crazy) ! I forgot what that many 6 year old boys were like tho. It was crazy and fun! Needless to say I slept very well that night. Robbie could not even wake me up the next morning.

CAKE!! Can he blow all 6 out? Yes he can!! Happy Birthday Hezekiah. What a fun party.
OK we are winding down the party. The last event, Water balloons. Thanks to the boys especially Gabriel who now loves to fill water balloons. (Malachi is very thankful) They threw over 200 water balloons. What a blast! A great grand finaley to the party! Now I must say I'm ready for bed. LOL

We just got half way across the bridge on our family weekend walk in August. We love to go on walks. Today we headed downtown and walked across our new build monument for the keeper of the Plains. Look at all the neat artifacts behind them. Very educational we learned a lot about the history of the keeper of the plains and enjoyed one another on a exciting nature walk. Just wait and see what we found today!
We are half way across the bridge. Malachi and I went down to see the front of the Indian and the rest of the crew are up on a ledge looking at all the artifacts.

A piece of Wichita History! The keeper of the plains. This is its new home. It use to be low and could not be seen very well. So they build a new place for it you can walk over a big bridge and look at it closer. It is really neat.

Walking across the bridge Jariah ran across some other boys looking at a grasshopper. He was not scared at all he just walked up and said "Wow look how big this grasshopper is!" and picked it right up. One of the other boys had found a butterfly. You never know what you will run across on a nature walk. Or who you will meet. That is the fun of every trip is the anticipation of what will we find today or who will we meet.

Leave it to Bug Man to find the biggest grasshopper I have ever seen. Jariah is our Bug Man. You name it he will find it!
The keeper of the Plains downtown Wichita Kansas! Part of our walk today was over the bridge and past the keeper of the plains. The kids enjoyed the view and learning a piece of Wichita History.

Boy and their Bugs! Hezekiah taking after his older brothers in there love for bugs!
We always find all kinds of neat stuff on our walks. Of Course Genesis loves flowers. The Boys love bugs! You see Genesis has not gotten her teeth back yet. She is still gummy bear!

Gabriel is Chillin' he loves to go for walks.
Gabriel and Mom sitting down and enjoying the view. It was a perfect day!

You never know what you will find on a nature walk. Even downtown Wichita! The kids were so excited, A Snake!!

Run Kids, Run! There is this steep hill the kids like to run down on our walk.

After our walk threw the downtown strip the kids love to play in the park. Here is Genesis, Hezekiah, and Gabriel poising with the statue.
