May 10, 2007. Wow I am 34 today! The Lord has been so good to me. As I look back on my life today. I am filled with Joy. The many things the Lord has done for me. My family, My friends, Most of all my relationship with the Lord. I also look at the many trials I have conquered and won. I also look at the many I feel I failed. But they all have made me who I am today. Threw thick and thin the Lord always wins. That is what gives me hope for the next year, and the Joy as I go into it. I love you all and look forward to this next year with you.

"Surprise Kathy" Said Shauna! " Surprise Shauna" said Kathy! Yes all this time I think I'm throwing Shauna a going away party and Shauna thinks she is throwing me a birthday party. Come to find out the joke is on both of us. The AdvoCare team threw both! We were both surprised. It was great, we all had a wonderful time.

This is Bailey. She is such a sweet girl. She was saving her money and when she found out it was my birthday she insisted on buying me a gift. In my card she wrote that I always remember their birthday and throw them parities so she wanted to do something special for me. I will never forget that she spent her money on me. I love you Bailey. May God bless you for your kind and loving heart. My necklace is beautiful. I will miss you too. This is Shauna Daughter and they are moving to Texas.

Here is part of the AdvoCare team. They threw me the Surprise Birthday Party. Of course the lady in red is Shauna she thought it was my surprise birthday party. I thought is was her surprise going away party. It was both so we were both surprised! Melenda, Robbie, and James are in the other room.

Did you all know I am having another baby. Yep! the smart way this time. This is my friend Katy. We are both Kathryn. She helped throw my surprise birthday party. I love her she is a great friend. I told her for my birthday I wanted a baby. Looks like it is not going to happen. When she goes back to work I will be watching the baby.

Hey I'm coming to get that ball from you. Yes that is a train coming you better move. He moved too. Malachi soccer game Tuesday May 8Th. They lost this game but they all played hard. The field was muddy. We have had a lot of rain. It was a fun game to watch, they all got muddy.

This was a tough game. The field was really wet. Malachi found that out when he landed in a big mud puddle. It was funny. Here he is fighting for the ball and they bounce off each other. He played tough the whole game. He is mid field so that means run, run, run.

Malachi running the field! He loves Soccer. Basketball and Soccer is his favorite sports to play. He is really getting good at soccer.

Malachi 1st Science Fair. May 8TH 2007, Bethel Life Center School. They had a lot of fun making it. He was glad it was over tho. He had one of those teachers who made you stress out about it. So he was glad when it was over. Grandpa Larry would be proud! We will have to pack it up and take it to Salina so he can see if first hand.

Can you believe it Malachi is done with the 6Th grade! May 8Th they had their first Science Fair. Theirs was on electricity. It was really neat.

Tuesday May 8Th Gabriel and his class walking into the zoo. As you can see May is a busy time of year. I'll have plenty to add to the blog this month to keep you up with all that is going on with the Newman Kids. This is the first of many events today. We had so much fun. Gabriel loves the zoo.

This is Mrs. Brenda she is Gabriel's signing parah. She is wonderful and has been a huge blessing to Gabriel. Really to all of us. She teaches me things all the time. Gabriel likes her a lot. We will miss her next year. For she will not transfer with Gabriel to Jr. High. Can you believe that Gabriel will be in Middle school now. Time fly's so fast.

This is Gabriel friend David. Gabriel has come so far this year as you can see he is signing a lot more. It is wonderful! Now he has me trying to catch up to where he is. That is a true testimony and I am so thankful for God is good! It has been a blessing for David too. He would not talk but when Gabriel finally got his full time parah he began to sign and now is verbally talking some. So getting a signing parah has helped more than just Gabriel but the whole class.

Gabriel loves the petting zoo too. They liked his blue coat. Gabriel and his signing parah had to get out of there they got a little to friendly and spooked his teacher. It was really funny. I could not stop laughing.

They come in to the class and read, play , and do special activities with the Autism room. The funny thing is the Autism kids were more behaved than the buddies on the field trip.

It has been a long morning walking around the zoo. Gabriel is so glad it is Lunch time. In fact he took half of his teachers sub sandwich. He did not think Mom packed enough lunch for him. Gabriel loves to eat. He also loved his trip to the zoo.
